It reads: To Lucy, a wonderful friend and a beautiful woman, whose heart, along with everything else, is 100% true. Thanks for saying yes. Love, me. Who is this from, Lucy? MH: I....I..... JM: What is this all about? Do you have a boyfriend you haven't been telling me about? And what does he mean, "Thanks for saying yes?" MH: Well, Joey, it's like this... JM: Who is this bum? SB: Well, it took you long enough to introduce me! BB: Excuse me! I had a couple of things to do first! SB: Well, just don't let it happen again! BB: The action begins, after this promo for CSWA ANNIVERSARY 1995: ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE, starting next weekend! BB: WINTER'S WARRIORS VI: TRIAL BY FIRE is ready to begin! Now making their way to the ring for the first matchup: first, from New York City standing at 6'4" and 240 lbs, this is "The Enforcer" Eric Jackson! His opponent, a newcomer to the CSWA, this is Vinnie Mortolla! ERIC JACKSON vs. VINNIE MORTOLLA ********************************************************** Jackson has been calling for a title shot, any title shot; and after this match, he may be well on his way. Jackson was all over Mortolla after the early-going. Mortolla had a few shots at Jackson in the beginning, but after an eye gouge by Jackson, Mortolla was in trouble. Jackson caught Vinnie with an atomic drop and followed with a german suplex. Jackson didn't let up there, however, he hooked in an STF. Mortolla quickly grabbed the ropes but found himself being caught in a sleeper hold instead. Again, Mortolla fought his way out, but after an irish whip followed by a back drop, most of the fight was gone out of Mortolla. Jackson pulled him to his feet and then caught him with his finisher, the side suplex! And that was the three-count and the win for Jackson. Winner: "THE ENFORCER" ERIC JACKSON SB: Well, with that jobber match out of the way... BB: That's enough, Sammy! Up next, we've got the surprise wrestler of the entire Ultratitle Tournament. The Hunter was ranked 27th, but he was able to force his way through some huge competition, including some #3 seeds! It took Bonecrusher to put him out of the tourney! Tonight he faces off against a man who is vying for a spot in the top 10! The Crippler, formerly known as Iron Eagle, has been slowly moving up the Top 25 over the past few months. And tonight he's looking for the win to push him even further up the rankings. THE CRIPPLER vs. THE HUNTER ********************************************************** The Hunter was impressive quickly. He caught The Crippler with a clothesline early, and then kept him on the mat. But The Crippler wasn't about to give in that quickly. He grabbed the ropes, breaking the figure four the Hunter had on him. With that, Crippler caught The Hunter with a belly to belly, following up with a slingshot suplex. The Crippler then headed to the top, catching The Hunter with a shoulderblock, setting him up for the end. A powerbomb by the Crippler put Hunter on the mat for the three-count. Winner: THE CRIPPLER BB: What a win for The Crippler! And, just as he has through the entire Ultratitle, The Hunter looked impressive. SB: Jobber, jobber, jobber, jobber, jobber... BB: Shut up, Sammy. Right now, we've got a match between another Ultratitle competitor and a former Greensboro Champion! PLATOON vs. "NINE INCH NAIL" KEVIN DUNLAP ********************************************************** Dunlap hoped to win this one easily and get back in the hunt for the Greensboro Title. That was not to be. Platoon took the match early and never let go. Dunlap was unable to keep away from Platoon's powerful moves. The Nine Inch Nail got hammered into the ground after a clothesline followed by a powerbomb. Platoon covered with a small package, and he had beaten the former G'boro Champ. Winner: PLATOON MASKED ASSASSINS vs. MAXIMUM PAIN ********************************************************** Both of these teams have remained entrenched in the top 10. And both have lost matchups to MUPPET MANIA. In this matchup, it seemed that Maximum Pain had the early edge. The Destructor was in the ring against Scope, and had him up in a backbreaker. But then the other Assassin, Bullet, rushed in and clipped The Destructor's knee, sending him and Scope crashing to the mat. Scope was able to climb to his corner and tag in Bullet, who immediately went to work on The Destructor's knee. Bullet hooked in a figure four and wouldn't let go, no matter how much The Destructor screamed. The other half of Maximum Pain, Terry Armstrong, came in to help his partner, but was stopped by the referee and by Scope. In the ring, Bullet let up on the figure four and then pulled The Destructor to the ring apron and began wrapping his injured knee around the ring post. Again, Armstrong tried to help his partner, but Scope was waiting for him. Scope and Armstrong battled outside the ring, while Bullet and The Destructor continued inside the ring. Bullet jumped off the top rope, catching the Destructor's knee with an elbow smash. After a couple of atomic drops, Bullet once again hooked in the figure four. The Destructor reached for, but was unable to reach, the ropes. Finally Bullet let up and covered with an inside cradle to get the win. Winner: MASKED ASSASSINS BB: What a brutal win for the Masked Assassins. SB: I think maybe Cornette and I need to talk to them about joining up with the CORP. I like these guys! BB: You would. After these messages from the CS TRIBUNE, the CSWA o-fish-al newsletter, we'll be back with the KAMIKAZE match! BB: The fans in the Superdome are on their feet in anticipation for this next match! From here on out, all the matches are bigtime, either with championships or careers on the line! This is WINTER'S WARRIORS VI, and we are ready to rock! Now on his way to the ring is the challenger, from Japan, this is the former CSWA World Junior Champion, TSUNAMI!!!!!! His opponent is the CSWA Presidential Champion and also hails from Japan, this is Hiroku Yakazuma!!!! This match is a KAMIKAZE match, in order to win a pinfall may only occur on an aerial move! Both men are in the ring, and there's the bell! Yakazuma starts it out early, catching Tsunami with an elbow and then hooking in a full nelson. Tsunami breaks out early, but finds himself whipped into the ropes and nailed with a clothesline from Yakazuma. Tsunami's up, and he gouges the eyes of Yakazuma, then follows up with an abdominal claw! Yakazuma breaks away, but Tsunami follows with a DDT! Yakazuma trips Tsunami up as he gets to his feet, and catches Tsunami with another elbow drop. There's a german suplex by the Presidential Champion, and now he's heading to the top. It looks like he's gonna go for a moonsault from the top, but Tsunami is getting to his feet. Yakazuma rethinks his plan and climbs down, hooking in the full nelson on Tsunami. Tsunami breaks out, whips Yakazuma into the ropes and nails him into the mat with a gorebuster! Now he's got Yakazuma in a chicken wing. He whips Yakazuma into the ropes and then delivers a high elevation backdrop, sending him over the top!!!! The ref doesn't call for the DQ, because it wasn't intentional. But Tsunami follows Yakazuma to the floor. Yakazuma's still on his back on the floor, rolling around in pain. Tsunami pulls him to his feet and piledrives him into the concrete floor!!!! Tsunami pulls him up again, but Yakazuma comes up with enough strength to push Tsunami into the steel ring post!!! Tsunami grabs Yakazuma and face plants him into the concrete with a brainbuster. Tsunami rolls back into the ring, beating the 10-count, then he rolls back out and drags Yakazuma in also. Tsunami whips Yakazuma into the ropes and catches him with a FrankenParsons!!!! Tsunami heads to the top!! We could see a new Presidential Champ if he nails this!!! Here he comes with a Reverse Moonsault off the top for the win!!!! NO!!!!! Yakazuma moved out of the way!!!! Tsunami hits the mat and bounces! Yakazuma is up on his knees, and he tries to capitalize, catching Tsunami with an elbow drop. But Tsunami is up, and he DDT's Yakazuma into the mat. Tsunami heads to the top again! This time he comes off with a Pearl of the Orient, and he NAILS it!!!!!!!! The ref counts it! ONE......TWO......THREE!!!! TSUNAMI is the NEW CSWA PRESIDENTIAL CHAMPION!!! He has won the Kamikaze match!!!! BB: What a win for Tsunami!!! SB: I can't believe Yakazuma lost! BB: I guess Cornette's plans have been foiled once again. His man couldn't hold on to the title that he was GIVEN by Ray S. SB: Hey, he had to beat a guy to win it. BB: Come on, it was Carl Brigsby, the biggest jobber in the CSWA. But the "posterboy" for the Hardcore Generation has won his second title here in the CSWA! Up next, we're read for the EN World Tag Team Title Defense! First, the challengers, from Miami, Florida, they stand at a combined weight of 518 pounds. They are "Cocky" Craig Miles and "Tigerman" JW Collins, they are the former US Tag Team Champions, FULL FORCE! Their opponents are former two- time CSWA World and Unified Tag Team Champions. They have only one career loss, and are presently the EN World Tag Team Champions. Here are Steve Morton and Chad Gibson, the "Solid Gold" CS EXPRESS!!!!!!!!! SB: Booooooooooo! BB: All four men are in the ring, this one could start out as a brawl if the ref isn't careful. Two men climb out of the ring, and we're ready to start the match. Chad Gibson will start out against JW Collins. Collins charges and catches Gibson with a belly to belly suplex, followed up by a side suplex. Gibson is on his feet, and he quickly hooks in a bear hug. Collins grabs the ropes, but Gibson whips him to the other side and catches him with a flip flop! Gibson tags in Morton, and the two nail Collins with a double suplex. Morton follows up with a DDT, but Collins is quickly back on his feet. Collins catches Morton in a belly to belly, then makes it to his corner and tags in Craig Miles. Miles climbs in and belly to back suplexes Morton, then hooks in an ad stretch. Morton grabs the ropes, and then catches Miles with an elbow. Morton whips Miles into the ropes and clotheslines him as he comes off. But Miles is up, and he hooks in a bear hug on Morton. Morton tries to power out, but he gets powerslammed by Miles. Miles tags in Collins, and they double suplex Morton. Collins continues the assault with a german suplex. ONE.....no, Morton is up. Collins catches him with a slingshot suplex and then a gutwrench slam. Collins heads to the top. He's going for a legdrop, but Morton rolls out of the way! It could be a matter of who gets to the corner first. Morton rolls toward his corner and tags in Gibson! Gibson rushes in and pulls Collins away from his corner! He whips Collins into the ropes, and catches him with a flip flop! Now Gibson hooks in the scorpion deathlock!!!! That's his personal finisher!!! Collins grabs the ropes, but Gibson DDTs him into the mat. Gibson tags in Morton and heads to the top! There's the ROCKET LAUNCHER!! You can count it, ref! ONE......TWO.....THREE! The CS EXPRESS retains their EN World Titles. Up next, Bonecrusher vs. HEAT! BB: What a tag match we just saw. SB: Yeah, sure, the CS Express cheating to win again. BB: What are you talking about, Sammy? SB: They doubleteamed Full Force! BB: Oh, come on, Sammy, it IS tag team wrestling! Up next, however, we've got another singles match. This match is one fall, no disqualification, no countout, and no time-limit, for the Greensboro Heavyweight Championship. First, the challenger, from Philadelphia, standing at 6'6" and 295 pounds. This man is a former United States and Intracontinental Champion, this is HEAT!!!! His opponent is a former US/National Champion, standing at 6'7" and 325 pounds. He is the current Greensboro Champion, this is BONECRUSHER!!!!! SB: COME ON HEAT!!!! BB: Both men are in the ring, and there's the bell. Senior referee Pee Wee Troutman is overseeing this match, that proves to be brutal. These two men have been waiting to get at each other for a long time. They're former tag team partners, whose team was destroyed by Bonecrusher's traitorous act. And here they go! Both men tear out of the corner. Bonecrusher gets the early edge because of his poer, hiptossing HEAT across the ring. He follows up with a savat kick, and then a spinebuster! But HEAT rolls out of the ring quickly to avoid the powerbomb. Bonecrusher follows, but HEAT is waiting, and he delivers a belly to belly suplex onto the concrete floor. HEAT karate kicks Bonecrusher to keep him down, and then grabs chair from the audience! He cracks it over Bonecrusher's head! He goes to do it again, but Bonecrusher grabs it and tears it out of HEAT's grasp. HEAT rolls back into the ring to avoid the chair. Bonecrusher follows, catching HEAT with a short clothesline. HEAT fights back with a karate chop, followed by a headlock. Bonecrusher powers out, and he delivers a belly to belly. Bonecrusher pulls HEAT up and sends him into the ropes. Bonecrusher follows through with a clothesline, sending HEAT over the top rope and down hard! Bonecrusher quickly follows outside the ring, and slams HEAT into the steel ring post. Bonecrusher goes to follow up, but HEAT dodges out of the way! Bonecrusher careens into the post himself!!! HEAT DDTs the hurting Bonecrusher onto the concrete floor! Now HEAT pulls another chair from the audience and lays it on the floor! He DDTs Bonecrusher into the chair!!! My Lord! Bonecrusher has been busted open! HEAT rolls him back in the ring, and belly to bellys him to the mat. HEAT heads up to the top and catches the bleeding Bonecrusher with a dropkick!!! Now HEAT lifts the big man up from behind. He's setting him up! And here it comes, the HEAT WAVE!!!! HEAT covers! ONE......TWO....... THREE!!!! HEAT is the NEW Greensboro Heavyweight Champion! SB: YES!!!! BB: Check out this promo for the Challenge Series during ANNIVERSARY 1995! BB: About a month ago, the CSWA began one of its largest undertakings ever. CSWA officials sent the call out throughout the wrestling world, and they assembled 256 wrestlers for the largest tournament ever, the annual ULTRATITLE Tournament! Out of those 256 wrestlers, four are now left. And after tonight, we'll be down to one, and he will be 1995's Ultratitle Champion. Here we go with the Ultratitle Tournament FINAL FOUR! #2 "MUPPET KID" TIMMY WINDHAM vs. #7 JT TYLER Windham took off early, catching Tyler with a big Kermy kick. But Tyler was back on track early, catching Windham with a clothesline and hooking in a quick figure four. Timmy grabbed the ropes and hooked in leg scissors of his own, following by whipping Tyler into the ropes and catching him with a flying dropkick. Tyler got up quickly, hooking in a bear hug on Windham and following with a belly to back suplex. Tyler followed up with an ad stretch that quickly turned into a body slam. Tyler hooked in a figure four leglock, and wouldn't let up for anything. Finally, Windham was able to move both of them close enough to the ropes so that he could grab them. Tyler was on his feet first, suplexing Windham back to the mat. But Windham hooked in leg scissors on Tyler, and then whipped Tyler into the ropes, catching him with a fozzie flip flop!!! Windham followed up quickly, nailing Tyler with another Kermy kick, and then hooking in a flying fish leglock! Tyler grabbed the ropes, finally, and then Windham caught him with the maneuver he calls the Clear!!!! Windham covered and got the three count with an inside cradle! DARK WARRIOR vs. DR. SILVER These two men took it to each other from the get-go. Dark Warrior caught Silver with a belly to belly/spinebuster combination early. But Doc Silver replied with a savat kick, followed by an inverted atomic drop of his own. Silver went for a reverse DDT, but got pushed into the ropes and forearm smashed by Dark Warrior. Warrior continued the assault with another belly to belly, then whipped Silver into the ropes and caught him with a flying cross body! That got Dark Warrior a one-count, but it also made Silver mad. Silver powered out of the cover and was on his feet in an instant. He sent Dark Warrior flying with an inverted atomic drop, and then followed up with a running elbow. That was just the beginning of Silver's run. He DDTed Dark Warrior into the mat, then delivered a neckbreaker. From there, Dr. Silver hooked in a half boston crab. From there, he was only a move away from victory, as he used his "Suicide Machine" piledriver to put Dark Warrior down for the three-count. Doc Silver moves on to the Ultratitle Finals! BB: We'll have the Ultratitle Championship match right after the Deadly FIREHOUSE match, next! BB: The three cages are in place, and the torches are ready to be lit! Four men will step into that cage, hoping to make it through to the top and win the safe way out. But three other men will be in their way, all competing for the same thing. And that is a championship. We don't yet who the champion will be at the top of the cage, but I believe it's safe to say that he'll do everything he can to keep that title. And he'll have the advantage of being fresh as well. Without further adieu, here are the first four competitors in the Deadly FIREHOUSE Match!!!! First, from China, standing at 6'5, 289 pounds, this is a member of the Chinese Inc., here is LU BU! And the other challenger, from Avon, Montana, standing at 6'5", 300 pounds. This is the former USN Champ and multi-time CWA World Champion, here is MIKE ROITER!!!! The third challenger, from Philadelphia, the man who just became the new Greensboro Champion, here is HEAT! And the final challenger, from Jakarta, Indonesia, the new CSWA Presidential Champ, here is TSUNAMI!!!! Tsunami and HEAT had already signed to be in the FIREHOUSE match before becoming champions tonight, otherwise they'd probably have the added advantage of being Firemen! Well, the four men are stepping into the first ring, and the CSWA staff is lighting the torches! The rings are on fire! And there's the bell! Lu Bu takes off after Tsunami, catching him with a powerslam and following with a piledriver! Mike Roiter gets the edge on HEAT, delivering a superkick and then a suplex! Tsunami fights back again Lu Bu, nailing him with a double thrust punch and then a savat kick. Lu Bu goes flying back into the ropes, but avoids the flames as he comes off and gets caught with a northern right suplex. HEAT hooks in a bear hug on Roiter, but Roiter powers out and belly to back suplexes HEAT. Lu Bu catches Tsunami with a chinese sickle, sending the Presidential champ flying! Roiter whips HEAT into the ropes and sends him into the top of the cage with a high elevation backdrop! Luckily, that part of the cage isn't on fire or HEAT could have been seriously injured. Roiter goes for the cover, but HEAT breaks out somehow. Lu Bu DDTs Tsunami, and Roiter hooks in an STF after catching HEAT with a short clothesline. Tsunami is on his feet, however, and he savat kicks Lu Bu, and then whips him hard into the ropes. Tsunami doesn't clothesline him, however, he sends him face first into the other side!!!! Lu Bu goes into the cage, and he's been burned!!!!! He's yelling in agony, but I can't tell how bad the burn is. Tsunami goes for the inside cradle cover, and he gets the three-count!!!! He'll sit back and try to avoid the contest between HEAT and Roiter so that he can move into the second ring somewhat refreshed. Roiter still has the edge on HEAT, and he powerslams the Greensboro Champ into the mat! ONE......TWO.....THREE!!!! We're down to two, as Tsunami and Mike Roiter will move into the next ring to meet the Firemen!!!!! BB: Roiter gets the fire extinguisher and puts out the flames on the door into the second ring. As they enter, Tsunami and Roiter are attacked by the Firemen!!!! One of them is the man who, before tonight, was the Greensboro Champ, it's Bonecrusher!!! And he tears after Mike Roiter! Tsunami gets the pleasure of dealing with the other Fireman, the Crippler!!! Bonecrusher belly to bellys Roiteri nto the mat, while the Crippler snap suplexes Tsunami. But both challengers are on their feet. Tsunami catches The Crippler with a spinning leg drop, while Roiter gets short clotheslined by Bonecrusher. Obviously, the two Firemen have an edge in this contest, being fresh. But Tsunami is holding his own, as he hooks on the Mexican ceiling hold on The Crippler. The Crippler powers out and responds with a belly to back suplex. Roiter catches Bonecrusher with a body slam and then follows with a bulldog. The Crippler whips Tsunami into the ropes, but Tsunami rolls, avoiding getting thrown into the flames on the cage. Roiter tries to send Bonecrusher into the flames as well, but instead gets whipped into the corner turnbuckle. Bonecrusher follows him in with a shoulderblock, and then DDTs Roiter into the mat! Tsunami trips up the Crippler, catching him with a cradle suplex and then small packaging him for the pin! ONE.....TWO.....THREE!!! The Crippler is eliminated from the match! Tsunami climbs to the top rope, barely avoiding getting his hair burned, and jumps off with a Falcon's Flight, catching Roiter who was laid out on the mat!!! Bonecrusher covers Roiter. ONE.....TWO.....THREE!! Now it comes down to Tsunami and Bonecrusher to see which one will move on to meet the Master Fireman! Tsunami savat kicks Bonecrusher, but the bigger man belly to belly suplex the Presidential Champion. Bonecrusher follows up with a slingshot suplex. But Tsunami is on his feet! He savat kicks Roiter and follows with a spinning leg drop!!! Bonecrusher is up quickly, once again belly to bellying Tsunami. He follows with a short clothesline, and then whips Tsunami into the ropes! There's a spinebuster by Bonecrusher! He's set Tsunami up for his finisher, and he gets him up for the powerbomb!!!! And there they go! Tsunami crashes into the mat with the full power of Bonecrusher behind him!! Bonecrusher covers! ONE......TWO......THREE!!!! Tsunami has been eliminated. Bonecrusher grabs the fire extinguisher and puts out the flames on the ladder leading up to the final cage. He will meet the Master Fireman, one of the champions of the CSWA! Bonecrusher hopes to regain a title after losing his Greensboro Championship to HEAT tonight. And he'll get that chance against..... PRODIGY(R) interactive personal service 02/24 03:24 PM Board: WRESTLING BB Topic: FANTASY-PRODIGY Subject: CSWA: WW6 11 To: All Date: 8/10/95 From: DUCW54B Cs Merritt Time: 2:30PM ET BB: Against JOEY MELTON, the United States/National Champion!!! Joey Melton is the Master Fireman! Melton charges Bonecrusher, tripping him up. He tries to hook in a step-over-toe hold, but Bonecrusher kicks him away. Bonecrusher staggers Melton with a savat kick, but the fresh, smaller man dodges out of the way, avoiding the belly to belly. Melton grapples with Bonecrusher and is able to body slam the big man, and he follows up with a brainbuster! Melton goes for the step-over-toe hold again and this time he hooks it in!!! This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back, if Bonecrusher can't get out of it. And in this match grabbing the ropes won't help him. Bonecrusher is straining, and he finally forces Melton to let go of the hold! Bonecrusher slowly climbs to his feet, but he avoids Melton attempt to DDT him. Bonecrusher short clothselines Melton, sending him to the mat, and then he lifts the smaller man and belly to bellys him. Melton is on his feet, he whips Bonecrusher into the ropes and he delivers a clothesline! But Bonecrusher doesn't hit the mat, he only staggers back! Melton is shocked! Bonecrusher delivers his own short clothesline, sending Melton into the ropes! Melton hits the cage, and howls as he gets singed by the fire! Bonecrusher hiptosses Melton across the ring. Now Bonecrusher is going for a slingshot suplex, but Melton blocks his leg! Now Melton pulls up for a suplex of his own, and he sends Bonecrusher crashing into the cage, back-first! Wow, Bonecrusher screams as he get burned by the fire. Melton delivers a few kicks to the downed Bonecrusher! But Bonecrusher grabs Melton's foot and yanks him to the mat. Bonecrusher makes it to his feet and belly to bellys the USN Champ. Bonecrusher drags Melton to his feet and whips him into the ropes and spinebusters him! That's his setup! But Bonecrusher picks up Melton and throws him into the fiery cage! Melton screams in pain, and Bonecrusher lifts him onto his shoulder! POWERBOMB by Bonecrusher! He covers Melton! ONE.......TWO........... THREE!! Bonecrusher wins the FIREHOUSE and the United States/National Championship!!!!! We'll have more after this promo for ANNIVERSARY! BB: Wow, what a FIREHOUSE match. Bonecrusher loses the Greensboro Championship, only to win the USN Title the same night. We've been told that no one sustained major injuries, although Bonecrusher, Melton, and Lu Bu all have second degree burns. None are serious, thankfully. Right now, we've got the FINALS of the ULTRATITLE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! On his way to the ring first, the former EN World Champion, from Sweetwater, Texas, this is TIMMY WINDHAM! And his opponent, the Western Conference Champion from Palm Springs, Florida, standing at 6'5", 257 pounds, this is DR. SILVER!!! Both men are in the ring, with head red Pee Wee Troutman presiding. And there's the bell! Dr. Silver takes off after Windham, and savat kicks him. But the former EN World Champion fights back, sending Silver into the ropes and catching him on the chin with a flying dropkick. Windham follows up with a flying fish leglock, but Silver quickly grabs the ropes, breaking the hold. Silver is on his feet, and he hooks in a nerve hold on the man known as "Muppet Kid." Windham can break out of the hold. Timmy Windham's giving up seven inches in height, but only about 20 pounds in weight. But still, Dr. Silver, especially with this hold has an advantage. Windham finally is able to reach the ropes and break the nerve hold. But Silver follows up with an inverted atomic drop, and now he hooks in a half-boston crab. Windham gives a yell as Silver cinches his right leg and works in on the half-boston. Again, Windham is able to grab the ropes. He hops to his feet and catches Silver with his version of the superkick, the Kermy kick. Silver stumbles back into the ropes, and Windham flies into the air and hooks in leg scissors! Silver rolls, pulling Windham with him and breaking the hold. Silver, on his feet, bounces off the ropes and catches Windham with a flying elbow! Silver pulls Windham up by his hair and sends him across the ring into the turnbuckle, chest first!!! He follows Windham in, crushing Windham between his body and the turnbuckle! Windham tries to make a move, but Silver dodges him and sends him to the mat with a DDT. Silver follows by running the ropes and then catching Timmy with a leg drop! He goes for the cover! ONE.....TWO....no, Windham kicks out. Windham hooks in leg scissors, but Silver breaks out quickly. Silver whips Windham into the ropes and catches him with another elbow on his way back in! Silver pulls Windham up and gets him ready for....there's a neckbreaker!!! Silver covers....ONE....no, Windham kicks out! Once again, Silver pulls Windham up and sends him face first into the turnbuckle! Dr. Silver pulls Windham back out and sets him up for his finisher. There's the SUICIDE MACHINE piledriver! Dr. Silver covers! ONE..............TWO............THREE!!!!! DR. SILVER is the 1995 ULTRATITLE CHAMPION!!! He is the last man standing out of the 256 men that began this tournament!!! After this message from the CSWA, we'll have our last two matches! MICKEY BENEDICT vs. MARK WINDHAM in the career vs. nickname match. And then the MAIN EVENT, the Unified Championship match! BB: The electrified steel cage is charged and ready to go! And I know there are two men who can't wait to get inside it. They're waiting in the wings right now. First, from Nashville, Tennessee, this man is a former two-time Presidential Champion, Intracontinental Champ, as well as a Pacific Champ and a two-time National Champion. He is the master of The Missile. Here is "THE ROCKET" MICKEY BENEDICT!!!! His opponent hails from Sweetwater, Texas, and is the former four-time United States Champion, as well as a National, Presidential, and Greensboro Champion. He has been voted Best and Most Popular Wrestler of the Year by CSWA fans before. He is "THE LIVING LEGEND" MARK WINDHAM!!!! Both men have a lot on the line in this match. If Benedict lasts for more than ten minutes against Windham, he'll become "The Living Legend." If Windham defeats Benedict in under ten minutes, Mickey Benedict will be forced to resign from wrestling once and for all. Both men are climbing into the ring through the door very carefully. The juice is on, and if they touch the side, they know they'll get a big shock! Referee Ben Worthington is overseeing this match, and right now he's fulfilling another one of the stipulations by tying Mark Windham's right hand behind his back. Windham will not only have to win this match in only ten minutes, but he'll have to do it with one arm behind his back. Worthington calls for the bell, and Benedict rushes Windham, who is still getting used to having only one arm. Benedict catches Windham with an elbow, and then dodges out of the way as Windham swings with his left fist. SB: That's the fastest we've seen Mickey move in years! BB: Benedict hooks in a half nelson, but Windham quickly breaks out. He sends Mickey into the ropes and then clothselines him with his one unbound arm!! What a show of strength by Windham! Benedict is on his feet, he dodges the one-armed grapple by Mark and gets around behind him. There's an inverted atomic drop by Windham, sending Mark into the ropes. He barely misses shocking himself on the electrified cage! Benedict follows through, trying to push Mark's head onto the cage. Mark ducks out of the way, avoiding putting his hand on the cage to push off with. Instead, Benedict's momentum ends up with his hand touching the cage!!! He yowls and pulls it back as quickly as he can. Benedict's arm is shaking involuntarily as he gets as far away from the cage as he can. And that puts him right by Mark Windham! Windham picks Mickey up and delivers a one-arm body slam. Before Benedict can get up, Windham delivers a knee to his midsection. Windham follows up by hooking in the iron claw!!! Benedict is in trouble! He keeps trying to reach the ropes to break the hold, but he's caught in the center of the ring! Ref Ben Worthington asks for the submission, but Benedict won't give up. Five minutes remain in this match. Windham only has five minutes left to pin Benedict! BB: Windham lets up on the claw, and delivers another knee to Benedict's midsection. And now, since he's only got one arm, he uses both feet and does a Garvin stomp on Benedict who is still laid out on the mat. Windham pulls Benedict up by his hair and whips him into the ropes! He's setting Benedict up for a high elevation backdrop into the cage! But he telegraphs it, and Benedict catches him on the way back and delivers a neckbreaker!!! Windham is laid out on the mat! Benedict hooks in his patented step-over-toe hold!!! Windham could be in serious trouble here. Mark keeps reaching for the ropes, but he's still a few inches away! Plus, he's only got one arm to reach with! Windham keeps inching closer and closer to breaking the hold, but he can't quite get to the ropes. He's saved by Benedict, ironically, who lets go of the hold and pulls Windham up to his feet. Mickey sends him into the ropes, setting him up for the MISSILE!!! But Windham grabs onto the ropes and holds on for dear life. Benedict goes for the missile, but nobody's home! Benedict slams hard into the mat, leaving himself wide open for Windham's assault! Windham comes off the ropes with a leg drop, and follows by hooking in the iron claw again. Benedict fights to get free of the claw, but wherever he goes, there's Windham, with his hand still firmly attached to Mickey's head. Ref: TWO MINUTES REMAIN in the match, TWO MINUTES! BB: Windham throws Mickey into the ropes and catches him with a clothesline as he comes off. I know that Mark would love to go for his lariat right now, but without two hands, I'm not sure he can do it! Windham goes for the cover, hooking one leg. ONE....no, Mickey kicks out! Windham comes off the ropes with an elbow on the older man, but Mickey still stays on one knee. Windham drags him to his feet and sends him into the ropes yet again. Windham catches Benedict with one arm and powerslams him into the mat!!!! He hooks the leg. ONE....no, Benedict again kicks out. Without that other arm, Mark just doesn't have the leverage yet to get the pin. Benedict dodges Windham and hooks in a half nelson, but Windham powers out easily with one arm. He reverses the hold and hooks Benedict in a half nelson of his own. Benedict grabs for the ropes, but Windham pulls him away. He sends Benedict into the ropes one more time, and this time he's going for, he GETS, the LARIAT!!!!! Somehow, even with one arm, Mark Windham was able to get his arm wrapped around Benedict's head and bring him down to the mat! Mark hooks the leg with his arm and goes for the grapevine cover! ONE......TWO.....NO, Mickey gets his foot on the ropes, just barely missing touching the cage. Windham pulls Mickey back to the center of the ring, and he hooks in the figure four!!! It takes him a little longer to get it hooked in with just one arm, but he gets it cinched in on Mickey, and Benedict has nowhere to go. Ref: THIRTY SECONDS REMAIN!!! RJ: Back to the house Joe Gibbs made famous... BB: SUPER BOWL BLAST continues with a match between top tag team contenders and a rookie team here in the CSWA. The Dawg Pound are former stars in the ECW and have just recently entered the SWA as well as the CSWA. TR EXPRESS vs. THE DAWG POUND All the odds seemed to rest in TR Express's favor, but apparently no one told The Dawg Pound about the odds! Rottweiler finished this quick tag team match up against Tony Eaton using a HUGE power slam that took the wind out of TR's sails. Winner: THE DAWG POUND TSUNAMI vs. PLATOON The huge 7'4" 300 lb Platoon was making his debut in the CSWA. He was up against the much small former World Junior Champion, Tsunami, who stands at 6', 245 lbs. Platoon, a Vietnam vet, must certainly have been having some flashbacks seeing the masked man from Indonesia. Platoon came out of the corner early like a madman, catching Tsunami with a vicious flying elbow, followed with a knee drop. But the young member of the "Hardcore" Generation wasn't ready to lay down and give up. He used his speed to catch Platoon with a savat kick and follow up with a cradle suplex. Platoon responded quickly, catching Tsunami with a headbutt and then hooking in a sleeper hold. Tsunami was able to grab the ropes, forcing Platoon to break the hold. From there, Tsunami used a savat kick, followed by a spinning leg drop to put Platoon to the mat. From there, the smaller man used a Falcon's Flight, followed by another top rope maneuver, an Alabama Jam. Platoon tried to make it to his feet, but Tsunami's DDT kept him on the mat. Tsunami could have gotten the cover there, but he headed up to the top rope yet again and came off with a TR Double Reverse Moonsault!!! Winner: TSUNAMI BB: After this break, a special interview with USN Champ Joey Melton! SB: AND Ms. Hooters! BB: And WINTER'S WARRIORS VI: TRIAL BY FIRE is almost ready to come to a conclusion. But it won't go out with a whimper, I can assure you, because we've got the MAIN EVENT coming up right now! This match is for the UNIFIED WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! First, the challenger. He is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and stands at 6'4, 263 pounds. He is the man who has taken the CSWA by storm and has become the two-time ENTERPRISES World Heavyweight Champion. He is the CSWA's Prince of DARKNESS, this is "DEVASTATING" MIKE RANDALLS!!!! His opponent has been called the "Franchise" of the CSWA. He is the three-time CSWA World Champion, a two-time United States Champion, and he is the first and only two-time UNIFIED WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, he is the ONE, the ONLY....... HORNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crowd is on its feet here in the SuperDome! The lights are being turned out for this special "lights out" match, where only the lights directly above the ring will be on. This match is two out of three falls for the Unified Championship!!! Randalls defeated Hornet under two weeks ago in Las Vegas in a relatively easy match. But we've been told that Hornet's back injury should bother him much less in this match, although it may not be at 100 percent. The door to the steel cage is being closed as Referee Pee Wee Troutman follows the two competitors into the enclosed ring. Randalls and Hornet circle each other, each heading to a different corner. Troutman speaks to each of the men, and we're about ready to start this match for the Unified Title. We're also going to turn on a special microphone suspended above the ring that should pick up anything the two men say to each other. SB: You think that's such a good idea? BB: We'll see. Troutman calls for the bell. And this one is underway! The two men square off over the CSWA logo in the center of the ring. They grapple, with Randalls coming out with the advantage, sending Hornet into the ropes. Hornet dodges the clothesline, and once again the two men are facing off in the center. They grapple, and Hornet comes away with a belly to belly suplex. He follows up with a full nelson, but Randalls grabs the ropes. Hornet backs away, breaking the hold, but Randalls charges into him, knocking him into the mat. The Unified Champ is in trouble early as Randalls pulls him up and delivers a german suplex! Hornet is back on his feet quickly though. SB: Randalls is already working on the back! He's gonna be the next Unified Champ very soon. BB: You could be right, Sammy. But the current Unified Champ charges the EN World Champ and catches him in a belly to back. He pulls Randalls to his feet and sends him across the ring into the turnbuckle!!! Randalls rams into the corner but comes out fighting as Hornet charges him. Randalls raises his foot, and the Unified Champ goes slamming face first into the a big boot. He's lucky he didn't go for the Hornet splash! BB: Randalls scoops up the stunned Hornet and body slams him to the mat. Now Randalls hooks in the figure four leglock!!!! Again, he's working on Hornet's lower back! But he hooks it in too close to the ropes, and Hornet breaks the hold by grabbing them. Randalls is slow to let go, however, and Ref Troutman has to pry him off of Hornet. Randalls pulls Hornet to his feet and sends him into the ropes. BIG Clothesline by Randalls to the Unified Champion!!! Randalls follows up quick, hooking in a boston crab on Hornet, once again working on the back!!! Troutman asks Hornet if he wants to submit, but Hornet yells no and shakes his head! Hornet inches his way closer and finally grabs the ropes! Again, Troutman has to force the EN World Champ to let go of the hold. Randalls is working over Hornet good. Hornet is back on his feet, however. Randalls sends him into the ropes again, but this time Hornet comes out on top with a flying cross body, catching Randalls unawares!!! Hornet follows with a belly to back suplex, and now he pulls Randalls back to his feet. He sends Randalls across the ring, over the ropes, face-first into the cage! Hornet follows Mike in and starts rubbing his face all across the steel! Randalls pushes away and falls back to the mat. Hornet scoops him up and hooks in a backbreaker! Randalls struggles to get out, and Hornet falls to one knee, dropping Randalls to the mat. His back just couldn't handle Randalls weight on it! Randalls is on his feet, and he's all over Hornet. He's got a camel clutch hooked in! Yet another move that works on Hornet's back. SB: Hornet shot himself in the foot with that backbreaker attempt. BB: Hornet grabs the ropes, but Randalls has him by the head and he sends him into the mat with a DDT!!!!! Hornet is down and out on the mat! Randalls lifts the Unified Champ back up again and delivers a back suplex!!!! Randalls whips Hornet into the ropes and brings him down with a huge clothesline! And now he piledrives Hornet into the mat! The Enterprises World Heavyweight Champion is on a tear! He pulls the Unified Champion to his feet, hooks the head under his arm, and there's a bridge suplex!!! He's got the cover! Troutman counts it! ONE..............TWO...............THREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! "Devastating" Mike Randalls has pinned Hornet for the second time in two weeks, and he has the first fall in this two-out-of-three falls match!!! Mike Randalls is half-way to becoming the Unified World Champion! Hornet is finally back on his feet, and he goes over and sits in a neutral corner. He'll have one minute to regain some stamina. His back has got to be bothering him. BB: We're coming down to the end of the one-minute rest period between falls. There's the bell, and the second fall in this huge match is underway!!! Randalls charges into Hornet, catching him with a snap suplex. Randalls is trying to keep things going the way they were just a couple of minutes ago. But Hornet is on his feet, and he backs into a corner to rest up for a few seconds. Troutman gets between he and Randalls, but he's asking Hornet if he can continue. The Unified Champ is back on his feet, nodding. He steps up to Randalls, and the two men grapple again. Hornet catches the EN World Champ with a belly to belly suplex, then he gets behind Randalls and delivers a belly to back! Again, Hornet is on his feet, and he hooks in a boston crab on Randalls in the middle of the ring! This could be a huge momentum changer right here. It looks like Hornet has the same strategy as Randalls, work on the back. However, Randalls obviously has the edge with that strategy. Hornet has the boston crab cinched in tight, and it's taking its toll on Randalls. Hornet isn't letting him go anywhere, especially not towards the ropes. Randalls is furious that he can't get to the ropes. You can see every muscle straining to break Hornet's hold or to reach the ropes, but Hornet's got it locked in tight. Randalls could be in serious trouble here if he doesn't find someway out of this boston crab. But that problem is answered for him as Hornet let's up on the move. SB: That's a huge mistake on Hornet's part. BB: Hornet belly to back suplexes Randalls, putting him back on the mat quickly. And this time he lifts Randalls and delivers a brainbuster!!!! He covers! ONE....Randalls kicks out pretty easily. Hornet grabs Randalls by the head and sends him into the ropes. There's a flying dropkick right to the chin! But both men are down! Hornet's back couldn't take the impact after he came down on the mat! Referee Troutman begins a ten- count. Both men are struggling to their feet. Randalls is on his feet first, and he charges Hornet. But Hornet drops to the mat, and Randalls charges through the ropes and into the cage. Hornet is back on his feet, and he pulls Randalls out of the ropes, sending him across the ring, and catching him with a clothesline! Hornet pulls Mike up again and sends him to the ropes, but Randalls dodges Hornet's clothesline this time. He pushes Hornet toward the turnbuckle, and they both hit Troutman!!!! The ref is down, but the two men are still going at it! It's becomes a fistfight, as both men trade rights and lefts. Referee Troutman is still down on the mat! Wait a second here! Two men have appeared down at ringside. It's FULL FORCE, Craig Miles and JW Collins!!!!! SB: YES!!! Windham AND Hornet losing in one night, it's more than I ever hoped for!!! BB: But what are they gonna do? They can't get into the cage! SB: But they can get SOMETHING into the cage. BB: You're exactly right! The two men heave a chair over the steel cage!!! Randalls has it, and he's going to nail Hornet with it! He pops Hornet in the back with the chair, as Hornet kneels to check on Troutman! SB: Oh yes!!! BB: Oh man, you could hear that shot throughout the arena. Hornet may not be able to keep going after that. And Randalls is going to do it again!!! But Hornet rolls out of the way and Randalls hits the turnbuckle!! Hornet is on his feet, and he nails Randalls in the jaw with a right hook! Randalls drops the chair, and Hornet picks it up!! He slams it into Randalls head and then delivers another shot to his back! Hornet throws the chair back over the steel cage! You can see that his back is hurt again. But you can also see Randalls laid out in the middle of the ring. Hornet hooks the leg and covers Randalls. Troutman is stirring in the corner. SB: NO!!!!! NO!!!! BB: Troutman sees the cover and starts the count! ONE..........TWO..........NO, Randalls kicks out!!! Hornet pulls him to his feet and delivers a brainbuster! He covers again! ONE.......TWO........THREE!!!!!! Hornet wins the second fall of this match. We're all tied up at one fall a piece here. The third fall will determine who leaves the SuperDome the Unified World Heavyweight Champion! Randalls is now getting back to his feet. Both men will need this one minute rest period. Wow, what an incredible night of wrestling we've seen here in the SuperDome. A new Greensboro Champ, a new Presidential Champ, a new USN Champion. Mark Windham loses to Mickey Benedict, although Benedict is seriously injured. A FIREHOUSE match, an electrified steel cage, we've had it all. And now we're going into the third fall between the best two in the game right now, the Unified World Champ and the EN World Champ. Wow. And the one- minute rest period is coming to an end. Referee Troutman, who has recovered from being shaken up earlier, calls for the bell. The third fall is underway. Once again, the two wrestlers meet in the center of the ring. There's a belly to belly by Hornet, but Randalls is on his feet immediately. These two men have caught a second wind. Randalls back suplexes Hornet, and then follows up by trying to hook in a step-over-toe hold, but Hornet kicks him away. Hornet scoops up Randalls and puts him down with a body slam, but Randalls pulls Hornet to the mat and delivers an elbow. BB: Both men are back on their feet. Randalls goes for a back suplex, but Hornet hooks the leg and sends Mike over instead. Randalls is furious. He charges Hornet and brings him down with a clothesline! What speed and power by the EN World Champ. But Hornet is up, and he sends Mike sprawling with a belly to belly. Hornet follows with a brainbuster, but Randalls is up and counters with another back suplex. Hornet whips Randalls into the ropes and catches him with a clothesline of his own. Hornet follows, scooping Randalls up and sending him down hard to the mat with a huge butterfly suplex! What power!!!! Randalls sweeps Hornet off his feet and then catches him with a DDT!! That could be a big momentum change! Randalls follows up, this time successfully hooking in the step-over-toe hold! And Hornet isn't near the ropes this time. He tries to power out, but Randalls has it cinched in. It's just like Hornet's figure four earlier in this match. Randalls isn't letting up anytime soon. Let's get in on the ring microphone. Troutman: Hornet, do you give? Hornet: NO!! Troutman: Do you wanna give it up? Hornet: NO!! Randalls: Come on, give it up. You're not getting out of this one. The darkness will win! BB: Well, it looks like Hornet's not gonna give it up that easily. SB: He might as well, it's over! BB: Randalls lets up on the step-over-toe hold and pulls Hornet to his feet. He whips Hornet into the ropes and catches him with a huge clothesline! He hooks the leg! ONE......no, Hornet kicks out. Randalls pulls him up again, and he catches Hornet with another back suplex. He whips Hornet into the ropes again and catches him with an elbow!! Now he's playing to the crowd, but he doesn't realize that Hornet is on his feet! Hornet belly to back suplexes him into the mat! Now he follows with a brainbuster! But Randalls is back up, and there's another back suplex! He whips Hornet across the ring, and then he sends him into the other ropes, neck-first with a STUN GUN! Hornet is down on the mat, holding his neck trying to breathe. Randalls follows with a piledriver! He covers! ONE......no, Hornet kicks out again somehow. Randalls pulls Hornet to his feet and sets him up for a reverse neckbreaker!!!!! But Hornet slips out and Randalls hits the mat without Hornet in his grasp! Hornet scoops up Randalls and powerslams him across the ring!!! Now Hornet heads to the top rope!!!! SB: There's no way!!!! BB: If he misses this, Randalls will be the new Unified Champ! Hornet jumps off! SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!!!!!!!! And he catches Randalls square on the mat!!! There's the cover! ONE.......TWO....no, Randalls kicks out!!! Randalls is up, and once again, he whips Hornet into Pee Wee Troutman! Randalls isn't going to take the chance that he'll lose this match! Randalls: Collins, now!!!! BB: JW Collins of FULL FORCE, still outside the ring throws a two-by-four into the ring!!!! Troutman is still down! BB: Randalls catches the two-by-four, but this time Hornet is ready!! But it doesn't matter! Instead of going for the back, Randalls catches Hornet full in the knee with the block of wood!!! Hornet goes down grasping his knee, and Randalls follows up with a huge shot to Hornet's back! But he doesn't stop there, he delivers another couple of shots to Hornet's back for good measure! Now he throws the two-by-four back over the cage, and he working on getting Troutman to his feet. But Hornet staggers to his knees and pulls Randalls away from Troutman. Randalls pulls Hornet to his feet and sends him into the ropes. There's another big clothesline by Randalls. Again, Randalls pulls Hornet to his feet. He's got a handful of hair, and now he's just taunting Hornet. Randalls: You want more, punk? Are you ready to end this charade? I AM the Unified Champ. You are NOTHING!! I am the DARKNESS! And you can't defeat me!!! BB: Randalls back suplexes Hornet into the mat. Ref Troutman still isn't on his feet, although it looks like he's stirring. It may not matter, except to save Hornet's career! Randalls DDTs Hornet into the mat, and once again he pulls him to his feet and yells at him! Randalls: GIVE IT UP! I want to hear you say "I quit." Say it! You know who the man is! Give in to the fear that I see in your eyes. It's OVER!!! SAY IT! Say "I quit!" Hornet: Never. BB: Randalls sends Hornet down again with another DDT! MR: SAY IT! H: Never. BB: THere another DDT! How much of this can Hornet take! SB: I LOVE IT! MR: SAY IT! H: What do you want me to say? MR: SAY "I QUIT!" NOW! H: YOU........STINK!!! BB: Randalls is stunned for a second, but again he delivers a DDT, slamming Hornet into the mat. MR: I am the Darkness!!! And you'll either say it or I'll make it so you never say anything again! H: I know of only one way to get rid of darkness. And that's with a little bit of light. Hit it Marvin! SB: What the...? Why's he talking to Marvin Parsons? BB: Hornet whips Randalls into the mat! Randalls comes off with a clothesline ready, but Hornet dodges it! SB: What was that noise? What has he done? BB: Hornet grabs Randalls as he comes off the ropes again, and he throws Randalls over the ropes into the cage! SB: What are those sparks!!!???? BB: THE STEEL CAGE IS ELECTRIFIED! HORNET HAD THE ELECTRICITY TURNED BACK ON!!!! RANDALLS IS BEING ELECTROCUTED!!!! SB: Is that smoke coming from his head? BB: Randalls falls off the cage. Hornet pulls the shaking EN Champ to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle! HORNET SPLASH!!!!!! BB: Hornet pulls Ref Troutman to his feet! SB: He's going to hook in the scorpion! Randalls is still shaking! BB: No, Hornet climbs to the top rope again!!! SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!! Troutman has no idea what's going on! He counts the cover! ONE.......TWO.......THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FULL FORCE rushes to the door of the cage to tell Troutman what has happened. Apparently the cage has been turned off again. Troutman consults with another official at ringside, and then he checks on Randalls. He raises his arm once, twice, three times, and Randalls arm falls, shaking, to the mat. Here's the final decision. RJ: By virtue of winning two of the three falls, the winner and STILL UNIFIED WORLD CHAMPION is HORNET!!!!!!! BB: Hornet is the winner of this match! He has defeated Mike Randalls. But Miles and Collins are all over him. They're taking Hornet to town. He may have won the match, but they want to make sure he won't have another!!! Collins is holding Hornet on the mat, as Miles comes off with a leg drop from the top onto Hornet's back!!! OH MAN! They nailed it! But here comes Mark Windham! And there's Timmy Windham and the Mexican Muppet from the another dressing room! FULL FORCE grabs the now-conscious Mike Randalls and drags him out of the steel cage. What a night! That's all the time we've got from here in New Orleans!
